Teresa Waclawik, freelance illustrator
Experienced illustrator for books, posters, banners and murals.
Wacky and wonderful world of art
Teresa "Wacky T." Waclawik lives in her own "wacky and wonderful world" of art. From her black and white book illustrations to colorful paintings to large murals, she is unique in her approach.
She is most famous for her Movie Mural at the Starlight Theatre in Vancouver, Canada, painted in 1990. An important landmark and popular tourist attraction in Vancouver's West End, the mural met an early and untimely demise in 1998, much to the dismay of the community, but you can read about it at See The West End.

An accomplished caricaturist
Waclawik's whimsical and often thought-provoking paintings can be found in a variety of collections across Canada and the United States. An accomplished caricaturist, she has been widely sought for promotional events, parties and conventionsmaking people smile from one end of the country to the other.
A local newspaper once called her "a one woman cultural event" because of her enthusiasm and immeasurable generosity in offering her artwork to support such worthy causes as food banks, charities and arts organizations.
