The Pact is a limited edition handmade book (1 copy). It's a miniature book made from paper with accordian binding. The book stays closed with two elastic loops that hook around nails, and its title is embossed into the front cover. The rough edge of the thick, printmaker's paper is left raw along the top of the book. Torn pieces of handmade paper are collaged on top.
The Pact is about the tension between two parts of myself: the part that wants to work hard, be organized, and get things done . . . and the part that wants to daydream, play, and gaze at the sky.
